Services:sexual assault and family violence through prevention, crisis services, and treatment. Formerly called Rape Crisis Center, CVS was founded by the Greater Richmond Interfaith Program in 1974 and incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in 1977. Since then, CVS has expanded its services to all of Contra Costa and Marin Counties
Stepping Stone Counseling Center provides counseling and intervention services to children and the families of children who have been sexually abused. CVS develops and maintains collaborative relationships with multiple community partners in an effort to keep services for victims consistent, compassionate and streamlined.

Funding supports treatment services for East County Youth involved in the East County Juvenile Drug Court Program.
