An Evening of Elegance and Admiration
Honorees and guest enjoyed a fabulous night of delicious Indian and American cuisine, cocktails and soothing music at the Mehran Restaurant for the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce 99th Annual Board of Directors Dinner and Installation on Thursday January 28th.
As the evening began Mayor Sal Evola officiated the swearing in of the new 2010 Board of Directors. Outgoing president Dr. Ron Quesada introduced the new President, Dave Adler of Pittsburg Disposal Service and proudly passed on the gavel.
The Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce honored and recognized those that go above and beyond including, residents and business owners.
This year’s honorees included Pittsburg Archetect Jim Miller and Pittsburg Power Company, Garret Evans who received the Board Member Appreciation Award for, HASA as Business of the Year, Santiago Soto from Outback Steakhouse as Business Person of the Year, William Wong as Citizen of the Year, Detective Ryan Wilkie and Officer Mark Mays received the Pittsburg Police Recognition Award, Robert Simonds as Veteran of the Year, Mary Alexander from Marina Vista Elementary as Educator of the Year, and Gail Pearson and Joanie Evola as Volunteers of the Year.
Recently retired CEO Mary Coniglio was also honored, for her outstanding commitment and support to the Chamber of Commerce.
The night was filled with laughs, cheers, hugs and handshakes, as friends and family congratulated honorees.
